Bright Flower Baby Shower {Fun Party Ideas}

My sweet sister-in-law Tommi had a baby girl recently, so my sister Wendy and I threw her a fun baby shower for her first girl. When we asked Tommi who she wanted us to invite we were told she wanted her husband to be there and make it a family affair, so we kept the party pretty low key. We didn’t play any games, and made it a dessert bar party with yummy dessert snacks. Tommi loves bold, bright colors so we went with that color scheme. I think it turned out cute.

Wendy made these flower decorations for the party. I’m hoping to have her tutorial of how to make them on here soon. (Once I get it up online I’ll be sure to post the link to it here too!)

Food Items:

– Yogurt Bar: Greek Yogurt with honey and then toppings to sprinkle on top

– Cream Puffs

– Lemon Topped sugar cookies

– Tripple Stuffed Oreos

– Albertsons Chocolate Chip Cookies & M&M Cookies (A favorite of Tommi’s)

– Lemon Iced Oatmeal Cookies

These lemon iced cookies are one of my new favorite recipes. It is something Wendy came up with when she didn’t have any chocolate chips for her chocolate chip cookie recipe. She skipped the chocolate chips, and then made a yummy lemon topping to give them more flavor. I’ll include a recipe for this later on this week as well!

Tummies were fed, jokes were told, and old stories of Alan’s past were shared. The party was a success. 🙂
