My daughter, Lanie, really loves Valentine’s Day. She talks about it for months before it is here. (Yes, she talks about it even before Christmas is over with). Today she asked if we could make a countdown chain for it, and has told me many of her grand plans for valentine’s weekend.
With a child who is more obsessed with this holiday than I ever have been, I know I have very little V-Day decor to go around. With my husband still looking for work I knew I couldn’t go out of my way to buy new things, so I tried to think of things I already have.
Then I had the idea of making a cute, personalized photo Valentine’s banner. It doubles as something cute and valentinesy (Yes, this is now a word), and all I had to do was use a few sheets of paper and some leftover string.
Okay, I may be biased but I love how they turned out! I knew I wanted them the colors my daughter wanted (pink and purple), but even my boys were digging seeing their own photos up on display. And I thought I’d share my photoshop file with anyone who wants to make their own. You know, spread the love. 🙂
Aren’t they so cute? Okay, I may be in love with looking at those cute little faces more than I actually am of the banner, but isn’t that the point? Putting up pictures of people we love to look at?!
I’m also including another printable with the words LOVE on it in honor of Valentine’s Day that coordinate with the photo banner. This is a PDF file, so you don’t even need to have photoshop to download. If you have a longer mantle, shelf or window to hang it from it would be so cute to mix the letters in with the photo banner too.
You can download the photoshop files HERE for the photo banner.
And you can download the LOVE banner HERE too.
Hope you enjoy! 🙂 This is my first time offering psd files, so if you do download please leave a comment and let me know what you think. I’d love to have any feedback.
**Note: Some of you have asked if there is anything you can do if you want the banner, but don’t have photoshop? I wish I knew! if someone does, please leave a comment below. If you want me to personalize it for you, just head over to MY ETSY SHOP and leave me a conversation note and I can let you know more details on what I charge for that.
